Snape would definitely teach his children about being understanding and making good choices and that would include discussions about inequality. I think Snape believes he would be a terrible father because of his relationship with his own, but I truly believe he would be fantastic. His life experiences and brilliant mind combined (not to mention his capacity for love) have to potential to make for a great role model and he would think carefully about each decision he makes for or with his child and want to protect them.

Also, Sev in a duel with people who spew hatred like that? They’re done for.

I’m loving this new trend of people going to zoos and participating in animal enrichment. We use to observe large exotic animals for our entertainment, but the fact is that we are now trying to make ourselves equally as entertaining for them. It’s interactive, completely parpicipatory and I would argue that eventually someone’s gonna come up with something new enough that it expland ethologists understanding about how some animals think, problem solve, communicate and feel and I think its fantastic.

Lily had a crush on her best friend since they were 14. He was the only one who understood her. They were both outcasts. She wanted them to grow up and be an intellectual power couple. She excused his ties with blood supremacist to her other friends. She dismissed his fascination with Dark Arts, his prejudices against Muggles, because she thought it was just a phase.

Severus realized he was in love with her the first day after their split. He never liked any romantic stuff, he never understood old romance books he read because they were classics. He didn’t believe in love after seeing all the abuse at home knowing his mother once loved his father deeply. But seeing her treat him like a stranger made him understand what his heart was for.

He was her first crush and she was his first love.
